The link up the track community had been waiting for finally happened as Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce treated Marie-Josee Ta Lou-Smith to Jamaican hospitality.
Shell-Ann Fraser-Pryce didn't bypass the opportunity of linking up with her fierce rival and sister Marie-Josee Ta Lou-Smith in Kingston, treating her to Jamaican hospitality.
Both ladies and their husbands linked up as they went on a brunch date, which the Jamaican track legend shared the beautiful moment on her Facebook page.
"Can't mek cousin Ta Lou grace the island and I don't roll out the Jamaican hospitality," wrote the five-time world 100m champion as her caption.
Ta Lou-Smith is in the world's speed factory for the Jamaica Athletics Invitational, where she is scheduled to officially kick off her Olympic year ahead of having a medal-winning outing in Paris.

Africa's fastest woman pays homage to one of the greatest sprinters in history in her home country
As an act of respect to one of the greatest athletes in history, Marie-Josee Ta Lou-Smith did one of the most amazing track things in Jamaica.
She got married to her husband J Smith (a Trinidadian) late last year in a grand civil wedding held in Ivory Coast, now making her half-Caribbean and a 'cousin' to Fraser-Pryce.
Despite being rivals on the track, Fraser-Pryce and Ta Lou-Smith's sismance relationship is graciously envied in the athletics community, and their successes make them role models to several young athletes.
The Ivorian is arguably Africa's greatest female 100m runner all-time, having won world championships sprints medals, owns the African Record (AR) of 10.72s (sixth-fastest in world history), and has qualified for every major championship final in the past decade.
