Africa’s fastest man Ferdinand Omanyala seems to be putting his money to good use going by the new investment that he has shared on social media.

The year 2024 has witnessed a number of track stars unveil new homes and the list seems to be growing longer with Africa’s fastest man Ferdinand Omanyala looking set to be the next one.

With Olympics 100m champion Noah Lyles buying a new home shortly after his engagement to Junelle Bromfield, Masai Russell, the Olympics 100m hurdles also purchasing a house, world 800m champion Mary Moraa also unveiled her new home in November.

Moraa unveiled her newly-built multi million home to her fans, celebrating her investment and Omanyala has dropped a major hint that he is next in line.

The Commonwealth 100m champion posted a clip on social media while inspecting the construction of a new house, appearing to confirm that he is soon set to be a homeowner.

Omanyala is seen getting out of his car before engaging in a little conversation with those working at the site before a cryptic caption that leaves fans guessing.

“God has been faithful,” Omanyala posted on TikTok, seemingly counting his blessings.

Omanyala did not enjoy the best of seasons with fourth place at the World Indoor Games and fifth at Kip Keino Classic before missing out on the Diamond League final, after two second place finishes in Eugene and Silesia and seventh in Rome, although he managed wins at the BFK Games in Hangelo, JOSKO International meeting and Memorial van Damme.

However, at the Paris Olympics, the sprinter exited at the semi-final following an eighth-place finish in his heat, having come in with great optimism.

Despite his poor return on the track, Omanyala is among Kenyan athletes with a number of lucrative endorsement deals, having signed contracts with the likes of Toyota, Visa, Tusker and OPPO Mobile.

The 28-year-old looks to be putting his money to good use as he plans for life after athletics even though he still has a number of years before hanging up his spikes.

Omanyala will be looking to right the wrongs of 2024 in 2025 with the World Championships in Tokyo, Japan being the main event.
