Favour Ofili gets her first Athlete of the Week recognition in 2023.
For the first time this season, Favour Ofili has been recognised as the South Eastern Conference (SEC) Athlete of the Week.
The conference office announced this on Tuesday afternoon, based on her brilliant performances last weekend.
Ofili clocked a fast 22.55s (converted to 22.62s for altitude) to win the women's 200m on Friday. Her converted altitude time was the fastest in the NCAA last week and is .09s off her NCAA-leading time of 22.53s.

The Louisiana State University junior followed her Friday performance with a season's debut in the 60m, first running 7.25s to finish third in her qualifying heat and then improving on it to a Season's Best of 7.21s for the same medal position in the final.
She is scheduled to compete in the 60m, 200m, and 4x400m relay this weekend at the Tyson Invitational in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
