Faith Kipyegon is set to launch her special edition Nike trainers, retailing at Ksh18,000, to celebrate her legacy in athletics.

Three-time Olympic champion Faith Kipyegon is set to release her own edition of the Nike Pegasus 41 trainers, one of its kind.

The 1500m world record holder is undeniably one of the greatest 1500m runners and having a shoe to her name will certainly solidify her status as one of the best.

The shoe will come in a Plum Chalk/Burgundy Crush/Flash Crimson/Fuchsia Dream colour scheme, according to House of heat. The shoe has a sophisticated look that will certainly attract people.

The shoe will also be presented in a custom-made box with the words, ‘I want to show the way. When I get older, I want to hear the next generation talking about Faith, saying, 'I want to be like Faith.'

Through her inspiring words, Faith Kipyegon hopes many athletes will reach the milestones she has achieved so far and even go beyond that.

The shoe is set to be released later this year, around September and fans cannot keep calm as they await their favourite athlete’s huge milestone. The shoe will retail for approximately Ksh 18,000.

Double world champion Faith Kipyegon has been part of the Nike family for over 10 years and has been involved in several of their projects.

She became a part of the Nike Athlete Think Tank in 2023 where he main goal was to create positive change in sports for women and girls.

Having begun her career running barefoot, she remains a great inspiration to youngsters that anything is possible. The Nike Athlete Think Tank is a platform where athletes can voice their opinions and contribute to positive change in sports.

The three-time world 1500m champion also worked with Nike in 2020, sharing her story with the Nike Run Club. These are just but a few projects that Faith Kipyegon has been involved in with Nike including launching her own shoe now.

The Kenyan 1500m sensation has already begun her 2025 season, competing at the Sirikwa Classic Cross Country, she failed to finish the race but it was just part of her build-up for the track season.

The 31-year-old will be making her track debut at the Diamond League Meeting in Xiamen, competing in the 1000m.

This season, Faith Kipyegon has a tough season since she has the task of defending her 1500m and 5000m titles at the World Championships in Tokyo, Japan in September.
