Following his dismal performance at the Paris Olympic Games, it was evident that Eliud Kipchoge would take time off from competing.
And indeed, it was true, however, Eliud Kipchoge did not take that much time as he has since been confirmed for the London Marathon scheduled for Sunday, April 27.
At the Paris Olympic Games, Eliud Kipchoge failed to finish the marathon, admitting that it was the worst performance he had ever recorded in his career.

The five-time Berlin Marathon champion added that he also has a way of maintaining a healthy body, revealing what he does to ensure he achieves that.

“Strength and core exercises, and stretching, are needed to maintain a healthy body. I do ice baths and massages. I follow a nutritious diet that strengthens the body, and I have a good fuelling strategy during training and races to keep energy high.”

It is not always about training when it comes to Eliud Kipchoge’s lifestyle, he also gives himself a chance to rest.
The two-time Olympic champion noted that during the rest day, sleep is one of the top things but he also engages in other calming activities including reading books.
“The body also needs its rest, so I go and rest during the day and sleep enough hours. I read books; I have fun; and I have good conversations with my teammates, family and friends to keep a well-balanced and happy mind,” Eliud Kipchoge said.
