US sprint queen Gabby Thomas has left fans in stitches over her account of 2024 after revealing the one thing she found more satisfying than winning three Olympics titles.

American sprint queen Gabby Thomas was the most outstanding female sprinter in 2024 following her three Olympics gold medals but she has jokingly revealed why that was not even big.

Thomas claimed Olympics gold in 200m, following a dominant run to beat St Lucia’s Julien Alfred, before she joined her Team USA colleagues to deliver 4x100m and 4x400m relay titles.

Following her success, Thomas featured at the Athlos, a women’s-only track event, managing second place in 200m, and capped off the year by being crowned US Female Athlete of the Year Award.

The 28-year-old was named the 2024 Jackie Joyner-Kersee Athlete of the Year with hurdler Grant Holloway claiming the Jesse Owens Athlete of the Year crown.

But trust Thomas to take a hilarious account of such lofty achievements and in her latest social media post, she left fans in stitches when she claimed her love for iced coffee surpassed everything else she achieved last year.

“Feeling like I didn’t accomplish much this year but then I remembered…” Thomas said in a series of posts on TikTok, adding: “I had ice coffee.”

“I had more iced coffee, I had so much iced coffee, doesn’t matter which city, I had iced coffee. Iced coffee was the first thing I had every day,” she added. “Iced coffee got me through everything. May 2025 be filled with iced coffee.”

The post excited her fans who found her way of explaining success hilarious.

“If YOU didn’t accomplish much this year, we all might as well pack it up,” one fan replied.

“Yeah, not much, only the Olympics and Athlos, nbd,” another one commented.

“Didn’t you win like three Olympic medals by any chance?” Thomas was asked.

“MAAAAM you also did a small thing of winning a gold medal at the Olympics but who’s counting,” was the hilarious count of another fan.

Jamaican sprinter Junelle Bromfield also weighed in. She said: “Lol ice coffee with three Olympic gold medals.”

As she looks forward to more iced coffee in 2025, Thomas’ fans will be expecting further glory on track especially at the World Championships in Tokyo, Japan in September as she looks for her first world title.
