The ninth fastest man in the world has made a bold declaration following his removal from the U.S. team to the Paris Olympic Games.
American wunderkind Christian Miller has made a statement of intent concerning his comeback after missing the Paris Olympic Games.
After his fifth-place finish in the men’s 100m final at the U.S. Olympic trials, Miller had his fingers crossed to be included in the men’s 4x100m relay team but he was also dropped from the pool. The 18-year-old will now have to keep his Olympic dream alive until the LA 2028 Olympic Games.

The American sprint legend disclosed the quality he admires about youngsters Quincy Wilson and Christian Miller.
Christian Coleman, Kyree King and Courtney Lindsey have been selected in the relay pool, joining triple world champion Noah Lyles, Kenny Bednarek and Fred Kerley.

Meanwhile, Miller was impressive at the trials, starting his campaign with a fifth-place finish, clocking 10.22 to cross the finish line in the preliminaries of the men’s 100m.
He the completed the podium in the semifinal, clocking a stunning 9.94 before his fifth-place finish in the final where he clocked 9.98 seconds. The time he clocked placed him at an advantage of being selected in the relay pool but luck was not on his side.

After his exit from the Olympic Games, he now goes back to the drawing board in a plot to qualify for the World Championships in Tokyo next year.
Miller started his season with a dominant win at the Pepsi Florida Relays and PURE Athletics Elite Invitational before claiming top honours in the preliminaries and semifinal at the New Balance Nationals Outdoors. He did not race in the final to conserve energy for the U.S. Olympic trials where he performed exceedingly well for an 18 year old.
