Christian Coleman has given a major reason why he would not quit track and field despite having a rough 2024 season.

Christian Coleman is one of the top sprinters who has endured a tough 2024 season and he will be looking to have a better season in 2025.

The former world 100m champion failed to make the 100m and 200m teams to the Paris Olympic Games and was included in the relay team that was disqualified for faulty baton exchanges.

At the US Olympic trials, he finished fourth in both the 100m and 200m races and missed out on a slot to the Olympic Games. Noah Lyles claimed top honours in both races.

Coleman was coming off a great start from the indoor tour where he claimed the 60m title at the World Indoor Championships in Glasgow, Scotland where he beat Noah Lyles.

However, having a bad season will not stop the 60m world record holder from continuing with his sprinting journey as he insisted that it is now part of his lifestyle.

In his latest post on Instagram, Christian Coleman shared a series of images in training and noted that he can’t take time back and do something else since he is deeply rooted in being a sprinter.

“Way too deep in this s**t, can’t go back now,” Coleman captioned the photos.

After the Paris Olympics, Christian Coleman competed at the Diamond League Meeting in Rome where he finished second behind Letsile Tebogo.

The American sprint king then raced at the Diamond League Meeting final in Brussels, finishing second behind Jamaican Ackeem Blake.

Coleman now shifts focus to next season where he intends to defend his world indoor title before heading to the outdoor races where his main goal will be to reclaim his world title at the World Championships in Tokyo, Japan.

He changed coaches in 2024 and started working his rumored girlfriend Sha’Carri Richardson’s coach Dennis Mitchell and hopefully, his bold move will yield great results in 2025.
