The sprinter is looking at the glass half-full despite a poor outing for Team Kenya in the mixed 4x400m relay at the Paris 2024 Olympics on Friday.
Boniface Mweresa is looking at the positives after Kenya's mixed 4x400m relay failed to make it to the final round at the Paris Olympics after a disappointing seventh-place finish in their qualifying heat.
The team, consisting of David Sanayek, Boniface Mweresa, Mercy Chebet, and Veronica Mutua, clocked a time of 3:13.13, which was not enough to secure a spot in the final stages of the competition.
However, Mweresa is happy that each one of them managed to feature at the prestigious games and will take the lessons to their next competition.

Kenya's mixed 4x400m relay team failed to advance in Paris, while the USA team set a new world record.
“Although the results weren't great, everyone has had a taste of what it's like to compete in the Olympics,” said Mweresa.
“After London, I can say that the experience was eye-opening and that I'm happy to have represented Kenya 12 years later.”
The race was marred by challenges even before it began as team member Kevin Kipkorir was disqualified days prior to the event.
