There was more uproar from another biblical scene of pale white horse described in the book of Revelations.

Christians from around the world have reacted with fury at controversial scenes from the opening ceremony of the 33rd Olympiad in Paris, France where the organizers had drag queens re-enact one of the most sacred ceremonies in the Christian faith.

The Last Super, presided over by Jesus Christ before his crucifixion and death almost 2000 years ago, is a sacred ritual for Christian faithfuls across the world.

It is practiced in churches numerous times a year commemorating the humility and service of Jesus Christ to humanity. The bread and wine taken in The Lord’s Super symbolize the body and blood of Jesus that was shed and the feat is conducted often to strengthen Christian’s faith.

Christian faith also discourages same sex unions and therefore re-enacting the sacred Lord’s Supper using drag queens clad in multi-colored outfits that are synonymous with the LGBTQI felt like another spear through the chest of followers of Jesus.

Another controversial scene of a Pale Horse also drew sharp reactions as online commentators compared it to another Biblical scene from the book of Revelations.

One of the performers donned a large silver headdress resembling a halo with another performer wearing a blue headdress with flowers that symbolised a dish being served at the meal.

One of the X users, Kyle Becker, a journalist condemned the acts, noting that the opening ceremony was filled with disrespectful features of blasphemy.

"The 2024 Paris Olympics has gone full-woke dystopian. The opening ceremony was filled with transgend*r mockery of the Last Supper, the Golden Calf idol, and even the Pale Horse from the Book of Revelation. The Olympics has made it clear that Christian viewers aren't welcome," he said.

Sarah Sansoni, another X user, slammed the organisers for being full of blasphemy in everything and failing to consider the Christians who would have wanted to diligently follow the opening ceremony.

"The whole #OpeningCeremony Sucked and was filled with blasphemy. There are over 2 billion Christians around the world and many love to watch the games. Why would you make fun and open with that? The opening ceremonies used to be fun and inspiring to watch. Now it’s depressing gender confused and mentally ill men. Shame. #Ireland #Olympic2024," she wrote.

Another angry X user wrote: "I'll delete and replace my last post, since I got a warning for being hateful.. But the Blasphemy by the French at the Olympics with the last supper recreation and Satanic theme, Mocking God, is not appreciated."

Clint Rusell added: "This is crazy. Opening your event by replacing Jesus and the disciples at the The Last Supper with men in drag. There are 2.4 billion Christians on earth and apparently the Olympics wanted to declare loudly to all of them, right out of the gate NOT WELCOME."

As reported by Fox News, the organisers defended themselves, insisting that the show aimed to show the absurdity of violence among humans.

The backlash, however, did not stop at that, forcing French politician and European parliament member Marion Marechal to go out of her comfort zone and defend the nation, noting that: "To all the Christians of the world who are watching the #Paris2024 ceremony and felt insulted by this drag queen parody of the Last Supper, know that it is not France that is speaking but a left-wing minority ready for any provocation. #notinmyname."
