Aussie teen freak Gout Gout draws comparisons to Usain Bolt with his record-breaking speed and strikingly similar running style.

Australian sprinter Gout Gout has caught the attention of the sports world with his electrifying performances on the track, drawing comparisons to the legendary Usain Bolt.

At just 16 years old, Gout's remarkable speed has ignited discussions about his potential to become one of the all-time greats in sprinting.

Australian track and field Olympian, Jane Flemming, who spoke on 2GB’s Wide World of Sports Radio via the Daily Mail, outlined three compelling reasons why this young sprinter could become the next Usain Bolt.

1. A Bolt-like physical presence

According to Jane Flemming, one of the primary reasons Gout stands out is his physical resemblance to Usain Bolt.

The towering Jamaican is widely known for his unique build, which helped him dominate the sprinting world for over a decade.

Flemming noted that Gout shares some of these same physical attributes, which could give him a similar edge over his competitors.

"There's a 16-year-old sprinter up in Queensland called Gout Gout, who if I've ever seen anybody run like Usain Bolt and [be] built like him, he is it," Flemming said.

"He’s broken our national under-18 record and he is only 16. Have a Google of this guy and watch him run – he is built like Usain Bolt and he runs like him."

The teenager’s imposing frame, powerful stride, and efficient technique resemble that of Bolt, making it no surprise that many have already drawn comparisons between the two.

2. Impressive speed at a young age

One of the most striking elements of Gout’s rise is how quickly he has emerged on the scene, breaking records and turning heads at just 16 years old.

At the Queensland Athletics Championships in March, Gout stunned the crowd by winning the 100m sprint with an extraordinary time of 10.29 seconds.

His performance in the 200m event at the Australian Junior Titles was equally impressive, as he broke the national under-18 record with a time of 20.87 seconds.

These accomplishments at such a young age have naturally invited comparisons to Usain Bolt’s early career.

Flemming pointed out that Gout's current times are eerily similar to what Bolt was running at the same age.

"He is [also] running not dissimilar times to what Bolt did at the same age [in Jamaica]," she explained. Comparatively, Bolt ran 200m in 20.58 seconds at 15 years old, just slightly faster than Gout’s record-breaking time at 16.

3. A viral sensation with a winning mentality

Gout Gout’s rise to fame is notjust due to his times but also the excitement he generates on the track.

A video of him crossing the finish line in 10.02 seconds during the viral 100m race has sent fans into a frenzy.

His smooth, effortless running style combined with his mental toughness makes him a compelling athlete to watch.

Speaking after his viral victory, Gout humbly acknowledged the comparisons to Bolt, while expressing his own ambitions:

"It's pretty cool because Usain Bolt is arguably the greatest athlete of all time and just being compared to him is a great feeling. Obviously, I'm Gout Gout so I'm trying to make a name for myself. If I can get to the level he was, that would be a great achievement."

While Gout expressed admiration for Bolt, he pointed to American sprinters Erriyon Knighton and Noah Lyles as his personal favorites, showing that while he appreciates the comparisons, he is determined to carve his own path.
