The event promises a packed day of competition, featuring race categories for senior men and women’s 10km, the U20 8km, 6km, and a 2km loop.
The previous leg of the series, held in Olkalou, witnessed outstanding performances. Hellen Ekalale secured a resounding victory in the Women’s 10km category, while Vincent Lang’at emerged triumphant in the men’s race.
The upcoming Kisii showdown is expected to attract fierce competition as athletes vie for top honors and the lucrative cash prizes.
The winners of the senior categories will each take home Ksh 50,000, while U20 victors will pocket Ksh 30,000.
These incentives underscore AK’s commitment to nurturing talent and maintaining high stakes in the series.
