Ashley Anumba led the list of performances for Nigerian student-athletes on Friday, shattering their PBs at different meets for their respective colleges.
On her very first throw of the outdoor season in the Discus throw event, Ashley Anumba shattered her Personal Best (PB) of 57.53m with a new throw of 59.37m to win the event at the Raleigh Relays.
Anumba's mark also broke the University of Virginia's (UVA) record and was a Meet Record.
Also in PB-breaking form was Imaobong Uko blazing to a time of 23.21s to win the women's 200m at the Clyde Hart Classic at her school Baylor University.

And finally, Karo Brume recorded a new PB of 23.91s to finish fourth overall in the women's 200m at the Willie Williams Classic, while Knowledge Omovoh clocked 24.07s, finishing seventh overall.

Meanwhile, more athletes are expected to compete today at different college meets, having Favour Ofili and Favour Ashe run in the relays in the 4x100m and 4x400m.
