Amos Serem’s younger brother Edmund is keenly following in his elder sibling's footsteps as he looks to make Team Kenya's contingent for this year’s World Under-20 Championships in Lima, Peru.
Last season, Edmund was selected to represent the country at the Africa Under-20 Championships in Zambia where he destroyed a strong field to take the top prize in the 3000m steeplechase race and he is not stopping that.

Isaac Omurwa has expressed gratitude to his elder brother Ferdinand Omanyala and coach Geoffrey Kimani after achieving another great milestone.
“I competed at the Under-20 Championships in Zambia last year and I was able to win a gold medal. Apart from the African Games, I want to go for the World Under-20 Championships in Lima and I’m training for that so I can go and win.
“I want to follow in the footsteps of my brother and run well like he does and I’m happy to be training with him. He usually gives me advice since he has competed on that level,” Edmund said.
