He expressed dissatisfaction with how Elon Musk started controlling the app and revealed that his ‘shared humanity’ is no longer appreciated hence there is no need to continue being there if there are no benefits.
“I've made the decision to leave X at the end of November. You can follow me at @Carl_lewis_official on Instagram or @carl-lewis on Bluesky. It is clear that this site and its owner have no interest in my shared humanity so there is no reason to use it. See you there,” Carl Lewis shared.
The American icon's decision has triggered some of the X users who thought it was unwise for him to leave the app due to Elon Musk’s close relations with newly elected US president Donald Trump.
