“It’s a blessing to be able to run today and two weeks ago I didn’t know that I would come here and run. I didn’t wear any spares, I didn’t do any run, I just started jogging on Monday,” Ta Lou-Smith told the Inside Lane.
“On Tuesday, I was at West Park and then Thursday I was at the blocks and you see me running today, it has been a big blessing. I know I’ll be ready for Paris, I know everything will perfect and I’m trusting in God,” she added.
As she heads to London, Ta Lou-Smith also encouraged her fans not to be worried since she will have trained well for the task.
“I’ll be going to London…I will be good and better and I believe it will be a good race in London. I don’t want my fans to worry and if they saw me running I want them to know that I’m coming back slowly. I trust God, I trust my coach and I trust the process,” she said.
