Commonwealth Games 100m champion Ferdinand Omanyala stuns fans after being spotted with a sleek new Ksh23 million luxury vehicle.

A big win before the season even started? Africa’s fastest man Ferdinand Omanyala has been making headlines again not on the track but with his latest automotive acquisition.

The 28-year-old Kenyan sprinter has been spotted with a stunning new 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado Adventure Plus J250.

The sleek vehicle, which comes with a customized number plate, is reportedly valued at a jaw-dropping Ksh23 million.

The champion sprinter shared a photo of himself with the luxury SUV on his social media.

“Taking power and style to the next level with the New Land Cruiser Prado Adventure Plus," he wrote.

The post quickly garnered thousands of likes and comments as fans and car enthusiasts alike admired the stylish ride and congratulated Omanyala on his apparent endorsement.

However, the sports star has yet to confirm if the SUV is officially his or part of his ongoing collaboration with Toyota.

Omanyala's relationship with the renowned vehicle manufacturer began in December 2023 when he inked a promotional partnership to promote the Toyota Hilux Double Cab pickup.

Since then, the sprinter has become a prominent face in Toyota’s advertising campaigns, known for aligning with the brand’s values of strength, durability, and precision — all qualities that resonate well with Omanyala’s track performance.

His new Prado, an eye-catching combination of luxury and adventure-ready features, has become the centerpiece of discussions around his partnership with Toyota.

While the star sprinter has generally kept his private life under wraps, his taste in cars has always drawn attention.

As one of Kenya's most-followed athletes, fans have occasionally seen him with some of the flashiest Toyota models.

His new Toyota Prado Adventure Plus J250, however, takes things to the next level with its rugged exterior, advanced tech, and off-road capabilities, symbolizing both his sporting spirit and his affinity for stylish yet powerful machines.

Omanyala’s rapid rise to fame in 2021 marked the beginning of several high-profile endorsements, adding to his growing influence both on and off the track.

Besides Toyota, he’s also partnered with global giants like Adidas and Visa. As an ambassador for the Aids Healthcare Foundation’s Vaccinate Our World (VOW) campaign, Omanyala has used his platform to advocate for health and wellness across Africa.

His impressive sponsorships have undoubtedly contributed to his success, enabling him to celebrate achievements like the new Prado.

Finishing the 2024 season as the world’s second-fastest man with his personal best of 9.79 seconds at the Kenyan Olympic trials, Omanyala stands just behind Jamaica’s Kishane Thompson who holds the season’s fastest time of 9.77 seconds.
