Ferdinand Omanyala enters the 2025 season with a new focus on grace, legacy, and personal growth, aiming to push beyond his limits and achieve greater heights both on and off the track.

Africa’s fastest man Ferdinand Omanyala enters the 2025 season filled with hope and a new theme that he believes will propel him to even greater heights.

The Commonwealth Games champion shared that he will walk by grace, reflecting on the things he may have taken for granted in the past.

As he trains, the Kenyan sprint king is focused on the broader impact of his career, aiming to push beyond his limits and explore new dimensions of life.

“I’ve named my season of 2025 a season of grace because every step of this journey has reminded me of the opportunities, the support and the strength that I’ve been blessed with. This season is about giving my all while remembering that it is by grace that I’ve come this far,” Ferdinand Omanyala said in a post shared on his Facebook page.

As he trains, Ferdinand Omanyala revealed that he wants to see how stronger he can get and hopefully, achieve new career milestones.

The 29-year-old added that nutrition and his mindset remain a huge aspect of his lifestyle, on and off the track as he extended a hand of gratitude to all the people who have made it easer to be a sprinter in Kenya.

“Every training session is a test, a test of how much more I can push, how much stronger I can become and how prepared I am to handle the challenges ahead,” Ferdinand Omanyala said.

“What I put into my body fuels the work I put out. Nutrition isn’t just about eating, it’s about discipline, balance and making every bite count.

“My mind is my strongest tool, staying focused, staying positive and staying grateful is how I win, both on and off the track.”

At the start of the season, Ferdinand Omanyala reassured fans that this season would be quite different from how he conducted his previous affairs.

In the video, he further assured that he is chasing greater goals. Ferdinand Omanyala is looking beyond winning medals and breaking records, he wants to leave a rich legacy behind and touch as many lives as he can.

“This season is bigger than me, it’s about showing that grace, hard work and belief can take you to unimaginable heights,” Ferdinand Omanyala said.

“I’m grateful to everyone who has been a part of my journey so far, especially Tusker for backing my nutrition and training. As I step into my new season of grace, I’m excited to keep pushing forward with Team Kenya.”

Ferdinand Omanyala has already his 2025 season, competing in several meets in the continent before expanding his reach. He notably skipped the indoor tour.

He started his campaign at home with a 100m race at the Thika Stadium before heading to South Africa where he finished third in the 100m at the ASA Athletics Grand Prix 1.

Ferdinand Omanyala then proceeded to the ASA Athletics Grand Prix 2 where he claimed top honours before competing at the 3rd National Trials in Kampala, Uganda, winning the 100m and 4x100m.
