A 73-year-old woman has narrated how his son and wife motivated her to try running for the first time at the Sirikwa Classic Cross-country.
Esther Cherono Koech, 73, toed the starting line of an event for the first time at the Sirikwa Classic Cross-country, and little did she know that it would be a life-changing moment for her.
Cherono had never thought of competing but seeing her son and his wife on television from time to time motivated her to also try athletics.
