Hill as thrown a spanner at his future with Miami Dolphins after the side missed the playoffs.
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill has cast doubt over his future with the team following a disappointing 32-20 loss to the New York Jets on Sunday at MetLife Stadium.
The defeat not only marked the end of the Dolphins’ season with an 8-9 record but also ensured they missed the playoffs, a first for Hill in his nearly decade-long NFL career.

'Give me that same chance'- Why NFL star Tyreek Hill wants the same courtesy accorded Noah Lyles by viral YouTuber IShowSpeed
NFL star Tyreek Hill is now demanding a showdown with viral Youtuber IShowSpeed after his 50m race against Olympic champion Noah Lyles.
Visibly frustrated, Hill expressed his concerns during a post-game interview shared via NFL on ESPN.
“This is my first time I haven’t been to the playoffs,” Hill said.
“For me, like I said, I just gotta do what’s best for my family. Whether that’s here or wherever that’s gonna be, I’m opening that door for myself. I’m out.”
The speedster did not mince words about his dissatisfaction, stating, “It was great playing here, but at the end of the day, I have to do what’s best for my career. I’m too much of a competitor to be just out there."
The Dolphins’ loss to the Jets capped off a lackluster season where inconsistency plagued the team.
Their 8-9 record fell short of expectations, leaving them well behind AFC East rivals, the Buffalo Bills, who topped the division with a commanding 13-4 record.
Hill, who joined the Dolphins in 2022 after six successful seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs, brought high hopes and electrifying performances to Miami.

'It has to be legit' - Noah Lyles sets condition for showdown against NFL star Tyreek Hill
Olympics 100m champion Noah Lyles has given a hint that he could race against NFL star Tyreek Hill but on his own terms.
However, the team’s inability to capitalize on his contributions and reach the postseason has led to questions about their direction, and Hill’s place in it.
As one of the league’s premier receivers, Hill is unlikely to lack suitors should he decide to move on.
